Truth is Treason in the Empire of Lies

Ron Paul said it best, “Truth is treason in the empire of lies“. We are seeing that very phrase resurface now as Julian Assange, the great founder of Wikileaks, and American hero, is being held, dead or alive, with no pending charge, and with a severed internet connection at the Ecuador Embassy by demands of Secretary of State, John Kerry.

Isn’t that the same Assange and the same Wikileaks that democrats loved when he released secret information regarding George W. Bush’s wars in the middle east? Yup. However, when the target of exposure is Hillary Rodham (read Rotten) Clinton’s corruption, people tend to die, and Russia tends to get blamed. Were they blaming Russia when they were exposing fellow neocon, yet Republican, George W. Bush? Well, if it wasn’t for double standards, the democratic party wouldn’t have any standards at all.

This election cycle, Wikileaks has exposed immense corruption by the DNC. First, they rigged the primaries so Bernie Sanders didn’t stand a chance. Now with the latest release of the Podesta emails and private speeches by Hillary to Goldman Sachs, they are actively trying to silence Julian Assange.

Much like Edward Snowden, another American hero, Assange was forced to live in exile. Snowden chose Moscow, while Assange had been staying at the Embassy in Ecuador for the past four years. However, reports are showing that Assange will be arrested, or perhaps he’ll “commit suicide” by shooting himself in the back of the head, due to the demands of Kerry.

According to Wikileaks, Assange faced espionage charges on behalf of the U.S. government. They claim:

“May 2016, the FBI told a US court that it continues to actively pursue Julian Assange and WikiLeaks. On 15 March 2016, the US Department of Justice filed a 113 page document to court saying that there is a pending national security prosecution against Assange and WikiLeaks. A federal warrant from 2012 shows that the WikiLeaks case concerns Espionage, Conspiracy to commit Espionage, Theft of Government Property, Electronic Espionage (classed as a terrorism offence under the Patriot Act), and (general) Conspiracy. Assange‚Äôs alleged co-conspirator, Chelsea Manning, is sentenced to 35 years for revealing information to WikiLeaks. She filed an appeal against her sentence on 18 May 2016.”

So Assange is now being held captive, while Hillary is free, but what’s an important insight is exactly why this is happening after the Wikileaks release of Hillary’s Goldman Sachs speeches, and why Kerry can call for someone’s unwarranted silencing from halfway across the world.

John Kerry is Secretary of State. His job is to enact diplomacy over warfare, not to silence a patriot’s attempt to spread the truth about the deep layers of corruption that surrounds our government. If it’s really a security risk, as Kerry would have you believe, the corruption might be worse than we can even imagine. Tyranny is revealing its ugly head just around the corner.

There is a positive side to all this – by Assange not being able to log onto the Wikileaks server it will trigger a dead man’s switch. Now, all this cyber talk confuses the crap out of me, but essentially a dead man’s switch is some sort of backup plan implemented in case Assange was assassinated or held captive. It will continually release data they have gathered until Assange can sign back in and deactivate it, which will expose much more than has already been exposed. Karma in action.

Unfortunately, the road to freedom is paved with the blood of patriots. However, if Assange is assassinated, his legacy will live on, triggered by his dead man’s switch. A quote from The Dark Knight comes to mind, “You either die a hero, or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain.

I offer you a bit of solace, and to begin and end a post with a quote from Ron Paul, “an idea whose time has come cannot be stopped by any army or any government“.

That idea is liberty, namely, freedom from oppression. It’s time has come, are you ready?
